Liberal landslideWeblog van woensdag 15 mei After President Aquino's Team PNoy coalition swept the board in the Senate election (nine seats out of twelve), in our estimates it now emerges that with nearly 70% of votes counted the Liberal Party had its best result ever in Monday's midterm elections with possibly as much as 107 seats in Congress (out of 222, was 45 in 2010 and 23 in 2007) and perhaps as many as 36 Governors (out of 81, was 10 in 2007 and 13 in 2010) including the gain of the biggest province Cebu.
